Roxy's K-9 Rescue is a home based rescue group who is devoted to providing care and a safe environment for abused, neglected and abandoned dogs. We rescue, rehabilitate and find permanent loving forever homes for these unwanted strays and dogs once owned and lived in a home.

Roxy's K-9 Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit rescue group, we depend on donations to continue to provide medical care, food and daily needs to all of our dogs we rescue.  We are a private, foster home-based rescue and do not have a public shelter.

We take in dogs from the streets of San Antonio, Texas who have injuries, medical needs and those awaiting certain death in local kill shelters are our top priority.  We receive dogs and puppies from different sources whether it be a family no longer able to care for their pet, a cruelty case via the City of San Antonio, a senior citizen entering an assisted living facility who cannot take their pet with them or puppy mills.

All our dogs are examined, vaccinated, spayed or neutered, microchipped and receive any and all necessary medical treatment before they are placed into carefully screened adoptive homes.

We hope to raise awareness of the plight of companion canines in San Antonio and educate the public on responsible pet ownership one foster and adopter at a time.
