My beloved ROXY, she was the best foster mom ever. She took care of every puppy/dog brought into our home. I miss you Roxy.
After volunteering with other rescue organizations, I decided to start my own and I named it after my female Rottweiler ROXY who just loved when I brought a new dog or puppy home. She completely took over and was a mother hen to everyone. The litter of puppies you see with Roxy in the picture had a mother here but Roxy told the mother she was free to find herself another home, Roxy would care for her babies!!!
Our volunteers and affiliated rescue sites can help you find the dog to to suit your lifestyle, your living situation and your temperament. We want successful placements. We want your new pet to bring joy to your life. We want you to have a lifetime of love and companionship. Our dogs are in foster homes; we can tell you a lot about them, especially that they need their own homes and someone to love them forever.
We ALWAYS have puppies, as spay and neuter laws are not enforced in San Antonio. Puppies are great as they can grow with your family, but keep in mind, a puppy grows very quickly and comes with it’s own issues – chewing, potty training, nipping, obedience training etc… so, whether a puppy or an older dog… Adoption is a commitment for the life of the animal, not until they become inconvenient.
I feed strays on the street, all are not strays, most have been dumped and abandoned after having a home. I try to take in the dogs as space becomes available in a foster home.
All of our animals receive vaccinations, testing and altering appropriate for their age. All pets will be microchipped prior to placement. The pet overpopulation problem has reached a crisis stage. We will use all of our resources to spay and neuter all pets in our care.
